Coffee and brake repair. When I came back from New Hampshire last weekend I thought I heard a little something grinding around and I thought my brakes were metal on metal. Turns out it was just the lever for the adjuster. I still need to do the whole Kit N Caboodle but I only have the shoe kit. So off to the parts store to get the drums for a Sunday funday. First let me apologize for the random photos, I missed getting pics during the day and the rig show and there were some cool rigs.
The @justgo_xpolre expo was great and I am thankful for the opportunity to meet so many friendly and inviting people. The turnout was great the weather was beautiful and there was a variety of different outdoor and overland interests represented like @treadlightlyteam who gave talks that I sadly did not attend. There were rig upfitters like @eodupfitters and @ratchetsoffroad and @nhoverland @northeastoverlandco , offroad overland guides @granitestateoverlanding @samoradventuredepot @theotherguides
Outdoor equipment from @mrtpoutdoors @kogollc and so many more I didn’t get to visit. It was a very positive experience for me and I look forward to the next one.

As I feverishly finish preparing for the “just go explore expo” this week, and today is Tuesday, which is cut and sew day, I decided I would just make a random pattern, something similar to a Dopp kit bag. It turned out to be some sort of frame bag, sort of because I needed to incorporate the @austere_manufacturing 3/4” buckles finally! You might be able to use it for a backpack extra pocket too, who knows? Anyhow, here it is, I’m gonna bring it as a display for the expo.

I made one of these for my wife because she was using her hand to smash bugs into the window . I was terrified she’d smash through the window and slice herself open. It’s made of MicroCarbon nylon and is quite durable, she’s used it for five years smashing bugs with no cracks.

With less than a month to prepare and having no clue how or what to do I’m gonna give it my best shot! So far I’m the only vendor I know of that has a @gfc_usa Camper and will be also using it as a booth lol wish me luck and if you have advice I’m listening!! I also updated the design a little bit by adding rubber tape to the inside surface, so the hose bracket doesn’t slide on the post I also added tape to the showerhead bracket so the showerhead that you use won’t slide out. OK, this is my personal bare bone set up for shower or whatever this particular model is an Ivation. I redesigned the shower hanger so it pivots using a thumbscrew, it’s made out of PLA instead of the carbon and the hose holder will go together with it like a kit, but I will offer the hose hanger individually also. I have to figure out a price, but it should be very affordable And super convenient seems to work well, and if you want, you can leave the hose hanger on the frame and close the door. I need to order more thumb screws today so I can put a bunch together for next week but right now I’ll have three available. #portableshower #offroad #overland #smalltruckcamping

So my favorite supplier @ripstopbytheroll did not have burnt orange 1 inch webbing so I got this from another supplier. It’s not so much burnt as it is orange but it works!

I’m finally making a little progress on the shoe bag. The past few days have been a little wacky. I’ve had a massive amount of fraudulent credit in bank applications done in my name so I’ve been a little busy. That said shoe bag moving forward! I hope everybody’s having a great day.
